This umbrella was left behind in a park where some of San Francisco’s wild parrot flock was foraging for dropped fruit in the grass. I realize you’re not going to find a royal blue umbrella kit in a photography studio. But the setting still conjured, for me, two conures posing for their portrait. And . . . that’s really the only reason I chose this image for “Today’s Photo.”
