Okay, one note. Remember the pop-culture phenom that was Jonathan Livingston Seagull? I was a kid when the book was released, and always thought this fable was one case where anthropomorphism, comparing the Breakfast Flock to material humans, did the gulls a disservice. Come to think of it, anthropomorphism doesn’t necessarily elevate the animals.
